During the vibrant "Ask Us Anything about US VC’s" fireside chat, Phil Beauregard (USA), Managing General Partner at Impellent Ventures (New York), renowned for his notable angel and fund investments, philanthropy and active leadership in the US tech ecosystem, shared his story, successes, hardships and valuable advice: from the challenges of becoming a great entrepreneur to what the US VCs look for in startups.
After receiving his degree from Wharton, Phil’s first two software companies were acquired by CarbonBlack and Hubspot. He then transitioned to serving as an executive at later-stage tech companies and joined Impellent Ventures in 2021, where Phil and his partners are genuinely committed to building and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem. They have already entered Lithuanian startup scene by co-investing USD 2.2 million in Evergrowth startup, one of the largest deals this year (https://tech.eu/2024/02/22/ai-revolutionizing-sales-evergrowths-journey-from-consultancy-to-ai-platform/), and have an eye for more. Coinvest Capital is keen to make some deals together and help Lithuanian startups in their global scaling journey and fundraising from international investors and business angels.
The event was sponsored by the leading US law firm Goodwin Proctor, and co-hosted by Impellent Ventures, Coinvest Capital, and Lithuanian Business Angels Network (LitBAN) in partnership with Workland offices.
